The Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club offers year round racing competitions. We have Keeler, Trailer Yacht, Multihull, Centerboard and Jet-ski divisions and all compete in the Summer and Winter series racing. The summer Series runs weekly from about mid-September, until Mid-March with a break for Christmas. The Winter Series begins approximately Mid-May and continues once a fortnight until mid August. The biggest race of the year for Keelers is annual Auckland to Tauranga Yacht Race run over the Easter weekend. Also included in the racing programme are races to Karewa / Motiti, Mayor and Whitianga. Cruising is also included in the programme.
