The Trailer yacht section has a burgeoning fleet of Elliot 5.9's which has seen some exicting racing on Wednesday nights. Of course we also have more conventional Trailer yachts which also compete in the Wednesday night Summer Series.

Winter racing is every alternate Sunday from May to August. During Summer from September to end of March, our major race night is Wednesday evening. Here is a ladies racing series, every alternate Thursday evening. Thursdays also include the Women on Water (for beginners/novices) . There is also a Friday night two-handed series, this takes place every alternate Friday evening. For the more adventurous, most of our longer outside the Harbour races take place over weekends, with races around Karewa, Motiti, Whitianga and Mayor .

During Winter from around May to August the major racing takes place every alternate Sunday. For the cruisers we have Brent Louden (07 576 3061) who organises the occasional fun trip around various parts of the Harbour. These are usually quite casual with a gathering in the evening then sail back home the next day.
